Origin & Preparation
Savusavu, Fiji. 500g. Medium Grind. Prepared traditionally by blending, straining, and serving cool.
Preparation changes the character of this kava. Blended with cold water, it tends to feel mildly stimulating. Blended with hot water and a splash of milk, it can feel much more stimulating.
After many tasting sessions, we believe this kava is best enjoyed at 6 tablespoons for a long session. It is a very stimulating, strong, heady kava, so more is not needed. Mix it with hot water for maximum effect, or use cold water for a more toned-down session.
