The Experience
Nalavo doesn't relax you. It accelerates you. The lift arrives fast and sits in the head — sharp, electric, alert. Thoughts move quicker. The body feels charged rather than heavy. Conversation runs ahead of itself. The closest everyday reference point is a very strong coffee, though regular kava drinkers will tell you it goes well beyond what caffeine produces. We settled on six tablespoons after a lot of tasting. More is unnecessary and frankly unpleasant — this kava hits hard and stays there. Prepare it hot with a little milk to pull the full character out: expect a racy, sharply alert, head-driven experience that simply doesn't feel like other kavas. Cold preparation produces a milder, more sociable bowl, closer to a strong coffee in character. Drink Nalavo for energy, focus and conversation — not for sleep and not for rest.
